Do you give free estimates?
Yes. We visit, measure and give you a written price before any work starts. For small repairs, a few photos are often enough.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. J&J Drywall and More LLC is licensed and insured. Ask for a copy of our certificate with your estimate.
What areas do you serve?
We are based in Virginia Beach, VA and take projects in other areas and states too. Call or text and tell us where the job is.
Do you take small jobs?
Yes. One patch, one ceiling or one room. Small jobs get the same care as big ones.
How long will my project take?
Repairs often take one or two visits because each coat of mud has to dry. A room is usually hung in a day and finished in a few more. You get a schedule with the estimate.
Do you clean up after the job?
Yes. We cover floors and furniture, control dust while sanding and haul the scraps away.
Do I need to be home while you work?
Only for the walkthrough at the start and at the end. Many clients leave us a key or a door code.
Do you work with contractors and builders?
Yes. We work as the drywall subcontractor on new construction, additions and remodels.
Can you match my existing wall texture?
Usually, yes: orange peel, knockdown, skip trowel and smooth.
What is included in the estimate?
Labor, materials, cleanup and the timeline. No surprise charges added at the end.
